FOREVER
Forever looms for some of us, afar off.
Others seem to be oblivious and foolishly ignore its existence.
Some are so embedded in the now that there is no looking back and forth.
Many pious think only of the impending doom and live in dread of tomorrow.
A multitude are waking to find that forever started before we began.
Forever is now, it was then, it will be.
With that in mind, I one of the awakened live today with gusto, yet with purpose.
The destination point is clear in my mind, and with determination and joy I head that way.
Mercy beacons me from my slumber to a hope of glory.
I sleep well. I rejoice. You can too.
